Crypto portfolio diversification is the practice of spreading exposure across more than one asset, category, or ecosystem. It can reduce dependence on a single holding, but it does not eliminate losses: many crypto assets can move together or share custody, liquidity, protocol, and regulatory risks.
There is no universally appropriate number. The relevant questions are how much each position contributes to risk, whether holdings share the same underlying exposures, and whether you can research, secure, tax-report, and monitor them. More tokens do not automatically mean more diversification.
There is no neutral percentage that fits every investor. A Bitcoin weight is an individual decision based on loss capacity, objectives, time horizon, liquidity needs, other assets, and local tax and regulatory considerations. Percentages shown in this guide are illustrative inputs, not targets.
