Editorial policy
This site is published by the Crypto Portfolio Tracker organization. These standards explain how we evaluate product claims, comparisons, market data, and financial education.
Published and last reviewed July 26, 2026
Product claims
Claims about Crypto Portfolio Tracker should match capabilities available in the current public app. Automatic integration coverage must name the supported exchange rather than imply universal support.
Comparisons
Competitor details should be dated, linked to public sources, and limited to features that can be verified. We avoid invented reviews, anonymous testimonials, and unsupported rankings.
Market data
Data pages identify the upstream source, relevant observation time, and known fallback or limitation. A stale snapshot must not be presented as a live reading.
Financial and tax topics
Educational material is not individualized financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice. High-impact claims should link to current primary guidance and state the tax year or filing season they cover.
Updates and corrections
A page’s reviewed or modified date changes only after a substantive review. Material errors should be corrected promptly without silently preserving a misleading claim.
AI-assisted work
Automated tools may assist research or drafting, but published factual claims remain subject to source review. AI output alone is not treated as evidence.
Report an error or request a correction
Email support@crypto-portfolio-tracker.app with the page URL, the claim in question, and a primary source when available. Security reports should follow the separate security process.
